Organic Summer Millefiori Honey from the Ostuni Coast
Summer wildflower honey from Apicoltura Alveare Bianco. A limited production honey.
Produced a few meters from the sea of Ostuni, it is a honey with a strong and aromatic flavor, therefore not only ideal for winter herbal teas, but also for pairing with mature cheeses. Thyme and eucalyptus prevail in this honey, therefore it is indicated for preventing and treating respiratory tract problems.

Summer Millefiori Honey is produced in a stretch of the Ostuni coast, a few meters from the sea, characterized by the presence of thyme on the garrigue and dunes, eucalyptus and yellow cornflower in the areas behind the dunes.
Coming mainly from the nectars of these botanical essences, it is a honey with a strong and aromatic taste, therefore not only ideal for winter herbal teas, but also for pairing with mature cheeses. Being a summer honey, it contains honeydew which gives it a brown color and very slow crystallization times.
Production method
All the processing phases of our honeys take place cold, in order to maintain their properties unchanged: after mechanical honey extraction, the honey is filtered to eliminate wax residues and left to decant for about 15 days. At this point the honey is ready for bottling.
